Fondazione UNIMI plays a supporting role in enhancing the University of Milan's innovation dealflow.

An innovation based on scientific research and the result of the convergence of objectives between the academic community and the corporate world.

A Foundation constitutes the evolution of the experience of Fondazione Filarete per le bioscienze e l'innovazione, an initiative of the University of Milan, Fondazione Cariplo, Intesa San Paolo and the Milan Chamber of Commerce, which, in 2008, gave birth to an experiment of a structure applied to technology transfer and incubation of innovative startups.
